The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a Senior Medical Technologist to support our mission of excellence in patient care, education, and research. In this on‑site role, you will perform and validate complex diagnostic tests, oversee daily lab operations, and ensure strict adherence to CAP/CLIA standards. You will mentor technologists, students, and residents, support cutting‑edge clinical research, and collaborate closely with clinicians and educators.   • Perform complex diagnostic laboratory testing and ensure accurate, timely results to support patient care and medical education
  • Oversee daily lab operations, including quality control, calibration, and maintenance of advanced laboratory instruments
  • Review and validate test data, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Train, mentor, and guide technologists, students, and residents in laboratory procedures and best practices
  • Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and educators to support clinical trials, academic programs, and process improvements
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with CAP, CLIA, and institutional policies and participate in inspections and audits
