Senior Medical Science Liaison – Dermatology - Rocky Mountain

Role / Responsibilities

• Senior Medical Science Liaison (field-based, external, customer-facing US therapeutic area medical unit).
• Analyze, interpret, and disseminate scientific data; acquire and translate customer insights; foster external expert networks; connect customers compliantly to advance medical strategy and improve patient outcomes.
• Build and maintain KOL/HCP relationships aligned to territory plans.
• Demonstrate advanced therapeutic area/product and competitor knowledge; disseminate complex scientific information in a compliant, fair-balanced, non-misleading manner.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and facilitate aligned medical collaborative/investigator-initiated research.
• Collect, interpret, and communicate medical insights to refine strategies/tactics.
• Identify partnerships between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Execute medical strategy at conferences; respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries; complete required documentation/training/expense reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health sciences (minimum); doctoral degree preferred (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent).
• 2+ years as a field-based MSL in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent written/verbal communication; organization; collaboration.

Desired skills

• Dissemination of complex scientific data; relevant therapeutic area expertise; clinical/research/teaching experience; virtual cross-functional teamwork; compliance with legal/regulatory requirements.

Travel & location

• Territory: Rocky Mountain (CO, UT, AZ, NM, NE, KS); must reside in territory.
• Up to 70% travel; some overnight/weekend; valid driver’s license.
