Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Senior Medical Director in Integrated Evidence Generation focused on Nephrology. You will be the architect of our evidence generation strategy, leading a multi-year plan that encompasses interventional and non-interventional studies, real-world evidence generation, and more. Your expertise will play a critical role in establishing Travere's scientific credibility and enhancing the value of our therapeutic assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrated Evidence & Lifecycle Strategy: Develop a comprehensive 3‑5 year evidence roadmap aligned with lifecycle priorities.
• Lead Medical Affairs efforts for lifecycle management planning and execution.
• Identify and bridge evidence gaps for label expansion, novel patient subpopulations, and long-term safety.
• Governance & Investment Oversight: Chair the Evidence Generation Committee and oversee cross‑functional governance processes.
• Make strategic investment decisions regarding research initiatives and ensure alignment with lifecycle objectives.
• Research Strategy: Design and implement a framework for investigator‑sponsored and collaborative research.
• Oversee partnerships with academic institutions and monitor the scientific impact of our initiatives.
• Real‑World Evidence Leadership: Collaborate in co‑leading strategies for real‑world evidence with Patient Access and HEOR.
• Ensure that RWE informs clinical practices and strengthens the value proposition of our therapies.
• External Leadership & Collaboration: Represent Travere in high‑level research initiatives and engage with key opinion leaders.
• Support field medical teams in external interactions and evidence‑generation activities.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD).
• 8 years in Medical Affairs or a related field with a focus on evidence generation.
• In‑depth knowledge of nephrology and healthcare delivery systems.
• Demonstrated ability to influence strategic decision‑making at the executive level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects and prioritize effectively.
• High ethical standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%, attending relevant conferences and symposiums.

Compensation: The competitive base pay range is $233,000.00 - $315,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
