Seeking a remote, part-time Senior Mechanical Piping Designer, the ideal candidate will design process and mechanical piping systems for various industrial sectors, utilizing Plant3D to create engineering drawings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project standards and deadlines. Key responsibilities Design process and mechanical piping systems in accordance with industry standards Create piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and 3D models of equipment and piping systems Conduct field walk-downs to document existing conditions and identify tie-in points Required qualifications Technical degree or certification in drafting or piping design Proficiency in AutoCAD and Plant3D At least twelve years of experience in piping design and plant layout Knowledge of national standards, including ASME B31.3 US Citizenship and capability to obtain a DOD security clearance
