Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This position will support the design and development of products from concept through prototyping, testing, and production.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies.
- Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Support products through the full development lifecycle.
- Develop prototypes and participate in testing and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with Electrical, Manufacturing, and other engineering teams.
- Support vendors and manufacturing partners.
- Apply DFM/DFA principles to improve manufacturability and reliability.
- Utilize GD&T and appropriate engineering standards.
- Identify and resolve mechanical design and manufacturing issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering/product development experience.
- Strong 3D CAD experience.
- Experience designing mechanical components and assemblies.
- Experience taking products from design through prototype and production.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining and sheet metal.
- Experience with engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Hands-on, problem-solving approach with strong communication skills.
