- Model complex, lofted aerospace parts in NX and possibly SolidWorks
- Perform and interpret Finite Element Analyses
- Design tooling to manufacture, repair, and assemble parts
- Participate in bid and proposal efforts by providing technical proposal content
- Participate in AS9100/ISO 9001 audits and provide quality engineering support as needed (e.g. authoring quality plans/inspections, etc)
- Reverse engineer parts using a Faro arm, Keyence and Verisurf software to fill in missing or incorrect data in drawing and loft and use Faro arm to verify models created
- Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes
- Document actions by completing logs
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Update existing work instructions to comply with updated Quality requirements
- Work with technicians to improve (lean) processes
- Read and interpret specifications, drawings, and other technical data to develop manufacturing process
- Work with Senior Program Managers as Project Engineer aiding in performance of analyses and interpretation of results as required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training (both required and desired):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant engineering or science discipline, from an ABET accredited program required
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Familiarity with ASME Y14.100 Standard Practices for Engineering Drawings
- 3D printing of prototype parts
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required

Salary: $100,000 - 100,000
