ySeeking a Senior Mechanical Enginee r to lead HVAC and mechanical system design for a wide variety of building projects. This role provides technical leadership throughout every phase of design while working alongside electrical, plumbing, civil, structural, commissioning, and building enclosure professionals to deliver coordinated engineering solutions for clients across multiple market sectors
.Responsibiliti
- esLead mechanical engineering design for commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, hospitality, government, and institutional facilitie
- s.Design HVAC systems including chilled water, hot water, VRF, VAV, DX, hydronic, ventilation, and energy recovery system
- s.Perform heating and cooling load calculations and equipment sizi
- g.Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and engineering report
- s.Coordinate closely with electrical, plumbing, structural, civil, architectural, and commissioning team
- s.Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality contro
- l.Mentor junior engineers and designers while performing technical review
- s.Attend client meetings and provide engineering guidance throughout project developmen
- t.Review contractor submittals, answer RFIs, and support construction administration activitie
- s.Ensure designs meet applicable building codes, ASHRAE standards, and energy code
- s.Recommend innovative, sustainable, and energy-efficient mechanical solution
s.Qualificatio
- nsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineerin
- g.Professional Engineer (PE) license require
- d.10+ years of MEP consulting experienc
- e.Strong HVAC design experience for commercial building
- s.Proficiency with Revit MEP and AutoCA
- D.Experience with HAP, Trane Trace, or similar HVAC load calculation softwar
- e.Thorough understanding of ASHRAE standards, IMC, IECC, and related building code
- s.Excellent project management and communication skill
