Design EngineerWe are seeking a hands-on Design Engineer with a strong ownership mindset to lead the end-to-end design and development of complete systems.This role is ideal for someone who has taken products from concept through development and delivery, with deep involvement in system-level design rather than individual components.The ideal candidate will come from an automation or manufacturing environment and remain actively engaged in engineering work, bringing practical expertise in designing and delivering complex systems.Responsibilities:Lead the full system design and development lifecycle from concept through productionOwn system architecture, design decisions, and technical executionDevelop and integrate mechanical systems, assemblies, and automation solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, controls, and project teamsDrive design validation, prototyping, and system improvementsEnsure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirementsSupport continuous improvement and optimization initiativesRequirements:5 - 10 years of experience in mechanical or systems designProven experience in end-to-end system design ownershipStrong background in automation systems or manufacturing environmentsHands-on experience with design, development, and system integrationAbility to work independently with a high level of technical ownershipA true hands-on engineer, not a program manager or people leaderSomeone who has designed complete systems, not just components or sub-partsA candidate with a strong ownership mindset and track record of delivering productsCurrently active in engineering and design workEducation:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldWe offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, and more.
