Position: Mechanical Engineer PE
Location: Seattle, WA (remote with travel)
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- PE (required for Sr.)
- Minimum 5 years of engineering design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Experience preparing technical studies, reports, and correspondence.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with energy modeling and building performance analysis.
- Ability to develop accurate multi-discipline cost estimates.
- Capability to interpret and apply engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
Job Description
- Perform project design, analysis, and engineering calculations across a range of mechanical and civil engineering disciplines.
- Prepare technical reports, field documentation, internal correspondence, and formal submissions under the project managers.
- Review design documentation, identify errors, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Design and analyze HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and provide upgrade recommendations.
