Job Description
Experience: Senior Level
Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year
As a senior mechanical engineer on our team, you are responsible for designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial, industrial, institutional, and government projects from concept through construction. This role collaborates with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to develop construction documents, prepare technical studies and cost estimates, and provide engineering support throughout the construction process, including reviewing submittals and resolving field issues.
MUST HAVE:
- BS in mechanical engineering or a related field
- P.E. License in California or a reciprocal state
- 7+ years of mechanical engineering/design experience in commercial or industrial settings
- Experience with mechanical design for Public Works, State Agencies, and/or municipal authorities.
- AutoCAD
NICE TO HAVE:
- HCAI/OSHPD experience is highly preferred
- Healthcare projects experience
- Experience with the Office of the State Fire Marshall (OSFM) or Division of the State Architect (DSA)
- Revit
