Client is building out numerous hyperscale data centers in the following locations and we are seeking tenured individuals to aid the construction of these facilities. Our data center project focuses on mission-critical thermal management, high-density process piping, and absolute system reliability rather than standard commercial HVAC. We are seeking multiple Mechanical and Commissioning Engineers to augment our existing teams. These projects are expected to go through Q1 of 2028. Expected 50 hour work weeks with overtime pay and per diem.
Key Responsibilities
- System Design: Create and review HVAC, chilled water plants, CRAH/CRAC units, hot/cold aisle containment, and piping layouts.
- Thermal Analysis: Run Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models to predict airflow and eliminate hot spots.
- Commissioning & Testing: Oversee startup scripts, integrated system tests, and equipment validation.
- Operations Support: Review change requests, troubleshoot advanced mechanical failures, and maintain safety compliance.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with electrical, structural, and software teams for seamless infrastructure integration.
- Create comprehensive documentation for mechanical designs and operational procedures
- Support continuous improvement through data analysis and system optimization
- Guide project teams through planning, execution, and commissioning phases
- Conceives, initiates, and leads projects with widespread impact on infrastructure design, innovation, and implementation.
