We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead multidisciplinary projects from concept through construction while mentoring junior staff, collaborating across engineering disciplines, and working directly with clients to deliver high-quality solutions and successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept through construction completion
- Manage project teams, schedules, and technical deliverables
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
- Provide technical leadership and ensure engineering excellence
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and support staff
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across various project types
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – Required (non-negotiable)
- 10+ years of experience in an A/E consulting environment
Strong expertise in mechanical systems (HVAC, building systems, etc.) - Proven experience managing projects from concept to completion
- Leadership experience with team supervision and mentoring
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
