Duties:
- Lead the complete systems design of industrial automation systems
- Design and analyze (FEA) precision machined components
- Interface directly with customers and customer engineers in gathering specifications, answering technical questions, and conducting technical product presentations
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability goals
- Prepare 3D models (using Solidworks)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or similar
- 7+ years of post-graduate experience
- Strong machine design andsystems design experience
- Experience interfacing directly with customers
- 3D CAD modeling experience (Solidworks, Inventor, Creo, etc.)
- Strong finite element analysis (FEA) experience (ANSYS a plus)
- Strong experience leading cross-functional teams
- Mission critical / defense industry experience a plus (but not required)
- Ability to pass a drug test
Salary:
$120-135K
