About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide technical leadership for commercial HVAC and plumbing design projects. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with strong project leadership experience and expertise in mechanical system design.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC and plumbing design for commercial projects.
- Mentor and support mechanical engineers and designers.
- Develop project work plans and oversee project execution.
- Prepare system selections and basis of design documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Represent the mechanical discipline during client meetings.
- Review submittals and respond to RFIs during construction.
- Maintain design standards and support quality control initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance throughout all phases of project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 8+ years of commercial HVAC and plumbing design experience.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system design and documentation.
- Proficiency in Revit , Microsoft Office , and Trane Trace load calculation software.
