nRequirements:
n· BSME or equivalent accredited professional degree
n· Registered Professional Engineer
n· Licensed in NC and SC or ability to obtain such with 60 days
n· Drivers License
n· Ability to travel occasionally
n· Physical ability to navigate project construction sites · 10 years minimum design and construction administration experience with a minimum of 7 years clinical healthcare and central plant design experience
nResponsibilities (upon completion of training and transition): Mechanical Engineering
no Steam systems generation and distribution design
no Chilled Water systems generation and distribution design
no HVAC systems design
no Equipment selection and oversight
no Medical Gas systems design oversight
no Plumbing systems oversight
no Performance-based fire protection oversight
no Mechanical, plumbing, and performance-based fire protection specification preparation
no Submittal and Request for Information reviews
no Construction site visits and commissioning
