Salary Range: $107,000.00 - $133,000.00 Salary/year
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and integration of mechanical systems at a system level. This role focuses on defining scalable, high-performance mechanical architectures and collaborating across teams to deliver robust, compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and develop mechanical system architecture aligned with product and business requirements
- Lead integration of mechanical components into cohesive systems across disciplines (R&D, electrical, manufacturing)
- Translate requirements into technical specifications and design standards
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (UL, CE, CSA, NSF)
- Drive design reviews, validation strategy, and issue resolution
- Support project planning, timelines, and technical decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Mechatronics or similar Engineering (or relevant work experience)
- 5+ years in mechanical design with system-level experience
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks
- Experience integrating complex mechanical systems
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and regulatory standards
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with manufacturing and electromechanical devices is preferred
