Design the machines behind the products people use every day.

At Ideal Pase , our engineers don't just design components—they create complete automated machines that turn an empty container into a finished product ready for the consumer . Our equipment helps package products from brands you probably already have in your kitchen, garage, or laundry room —from premium paints, hot sauces, olive oils, and food products to laundry detergents, wines, adhesives, and countless other liquids.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer , you'll take technical ownership of sophisticated liquid-filling automation from initial concept through customer acceptance. Every application presents a new engineering challenge: How do we accurately fill a difficult product? How do we accommodate an unusual container? How do we increase speed without sacrificing precision? And how do mechanical systems, servo motion, pneumatics, instrumentation, electrical hardware, and controls come together as one reliable, high-performance machine?

You’ll be one of the engineers answering those questions—and turning the answers into real equipment.

You’ll lead the engineering effort from project kick-off through design, build, testing, and customer acceptance. Along the way, you’ll collaborate directly with customers, manufacturing teams, controls engineers, suppliers, and other technical specialists. You’ll make key design decisions, lead technical reviews, solve real-world problems as machines come to life on our production floor, and help ensure each system delivers on its performance, quality, cost, and schedule commitments.

Ideal Pase, the liquid-filling business unit of Massman Companies , is growing across our operations in Eagan, Minnesota and Madison, Wisconsin. We’re looking for an experienced machine designer who wants more than a steady stream of CAD assignments. This is an opportunity to take technical ownership of complex machinery, solve challenging automation problems, influence how our next generation of equipment is designed, and experience the satisfaction of watching machines you helped create produce real products for real customers.
