In addition, the Senior Mechanical Designer will also be held accountable for peer reviews, department mentoring, and leading small project groups.Essential FunctionsMaintain advanced working knowledge of Crystal Group's mechanical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor) for efficient conversion of technical requirements into schematic diagrams and assembly drawingsMaintain advanced understanding of metal parts machining, fabrication, and assembly processesMaintain advanced working knowledge of packaging techniques applied to high performance electronics for use in harsh and demanding environmentsMaintain advanced knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the design field. Occasional exposure to manufacturing floor and testing environments.
