Join our engineering team and help lead the development of next-generation fitness equipment used by customers around the world.As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in product innovation, technical problem-solving, and engineering execution across the full product development lifecycle. Working closely with Project Engineering, Industrial Design, and Factory Engineering teams, you'll help transform concepts into high-quality consumer products while mentoring less experienced engineers and influencing engineering best practices.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced product development environment and enjoys balancing hands-on design work with technical leadership.What You'll Do:Lead the mechanical design and development of new fitness products from concept through production launchCreate and review 3D CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, and product documentationCollaborate cross-functionally with Project Engineering, Industrial Design, Factory Engineering, and Manufacturing teamsTranslate customer and product requirements into innovative engineering solutionsLead technical design reviews and engineering discussions throughout the product lifecycleSupport tooling development, product costing, and manufacturability optimizationDevelop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)Develop engineering test specifications and validation plansConduct or support DFMEA activities, strength analysis, and fatigue testingEvaluate and validate product designs through prototype and component testingResearch new technologies, materials, and manufacturing methodsSupport innovation initiatives, including patent searches and invention disclosuresPartner with factory engineering teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing, quality, and cost requirementsSupport new product introduction into mass productionTroubleshoot technical and manufacturing challenges during production ramp-upReview quality and inspection data to drive continuous product improvement and value-engineering opportunitiesCollaborate with Asia-based engineering and manufacturing teams on product execution and technical requirementsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers and designersShare best practices related to mechanical design, manufacturability, and problem-solvingContribute to continuous improvement within engineering processes and product development standardsRequirementsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field7+ years of mechanical design or product development experienceProficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesPreferred Experience:Consumer product development experienceExperience with plastic injection molding and high-volume manufacturingFamiliarity with DFMEA, testing, and product validationExperience collaborating with Industrial Design teamsPassion for hands-on design, building, or mechanical projectsWhy Join Us?Lead the development of innovative consumer fitness productsInfluence products from concept through productionCollaborate with global engineering and manufacturing teamsOpportunity to mentor and guide developing engineersHigh-impact role with strong technical ownershipDynamic, collaborative, and innovation-focused engineering environmentTravel opportunities available both domestically and internationallyIf you're passionate about engineering innovation, product design, and solving real-world challenges, we'd love to hear from you.
