Senior Marketing Research Manager – Ad Hoc Quantitative
Senior Research Manager role: Lead complex research projects independently from inception to completion, manage client relationships, and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of research projects, including design, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Write and price proposals with support from Account Strategist/Consultant.
- Determine study designs; create complex surveys and analysis plans.
- Craft storytelling reports and present findings independently to clients.
- Monitor project financials and ensure profitability.
- Foster strong client loyalty through exceptional service and project execution.
- Train clients on research methodologies and provide actionable recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to generate additional business.
- Mentor and develop junior team members; provide internal training as needed.
- Lead one or more project teams.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in custom ad hoc/proprietary research.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Mentor and/or supervise research interns, coordinators, or senior-level employees.
- Strong storytelling ability—extract and convey meaningful insights clearly.

Technical Skills Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- SPSS proficiency for quantitative-oriented individuals.
