Job TitlePay Range: $21.00hr - $26.00hrJob OverviewThe candidate works autonomously to meet goals and deliverables for the production cell. The successful candidate is responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies with emphasis on circuit card assemblies (CCA). The candidate fully comprehends and interprets a wide variety of technical specifications, including IPC and J-STD. The candidate is able to identify problems and issues in all situations, resulting in collaborating with engineering on a viable solution.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate is a self-starter with the ability to complete complex assignments while determining and following methods and sequence of operations in performing specialty wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units. The candidate makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications and work authorization documentation.

The candidate must be flexible in supporting program needs by being readily available to flex between processes as necessary and supporting other programs whenever there is a business need.The candidate must be an expert using hand tools including but not limited to screwdrivers, torque wrenches, soldering equipment, and epoxy dispensing tools. The candidate must be able to work under a low power microscope. The successful candidate is responsible for performing complex functions associated with all mechanical assembly operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.The candidate uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate complex operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. The candidate determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. The successful candidate works with engineers in conducting experiments.Nature of SupervisionThe candidate works under limited supervision.

The candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6+ years of prior relevant experience, or a 2-year post-secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 2+ years of prior related experience.
