We are seeking an experienced Planisware Business Systems Administrator to support the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of an enterprise portfolio management platform used to manage research and development projects. This role will provide end-user support, configure and maintain the system, optimize business processes, and deliver reporting solutions while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Level 1 support resource for Planisware users, providing guidance on system navigation, project schedule updates, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Administer the business functions of the Planisware platform, including user provisioning and deprovisioning, master data maintenance, templates, portfolios, styles, and end-user training.
- Configure and maintain Planisware modules, forms, workflows, dashboards, reports, business rules, calculations, custom objects, and automated processes.
- Document system configurations, business processes, and technical specifications to support ongoing system maintenance and enhancements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline business processes and optimize portfolio management workflows.
- Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports using data from Planisware and other enterprise systems.
- Support resource planning, KPI tracking, operational reporting, and reconciliation activities across multiple business functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure portfolio data integrity and support downstream business processes that rely on Planisware data.
- Assist with project management activities related to system enhancements, process improvements, and operational initiatives.
- Partner with global teams to support enterprise-wide portfolio management processes and ensure alignment across regions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Life Sciences, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on Planisware experience, including system administration, configuration, and end-user support.
- Strong knowledge of Planisware configuration, workflows, reporting capabilities, and business administration.
- Experience supporting enterprise portfolio management or project management systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project, with strong reporting and data analysis skills.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, KPIs, and operational metrics.
- Knowledge of research and development or product development lifecycle processes is preferred.
- Demonstrated project management experience supporting system enhancements or business process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer support skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience working with global, cross-functional teams and supporting users across multiple time zones.
- Flexibility to participate in occasional early morning or evening meetings to support global collaboration
