About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing Operations Team pursuing an ambitious product roadmap. This is a visible, cross-functional role developing and improving manufacturing processes — from NPI through steady-state production — reporting to the Sr. Operations Engineering Manager.
What You'll Do
- Lead manufacturing process development: manufacturability (DFX, PFMEA, DFMEA, GD&T, tolerance analysis), tooling/fixture design, and equipment installation for NPI
- Drive cost and efficiency improvements using Lean tools — Value Stream Mapping, Gemba walks, time studies
- Own manufacturing documentation: work instructions, process control plans, ECOs, and ISO 9001/QMS-aligned rev-controlled workflows
- Troubleshoot production issues and support root-cause analysis on field failures and quality escapes
- Champion safety standards across equipment, tooling, and daily production practices
- Lead mid- to high-level projects, presenting status updates to leadership
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in an electromechanical manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills (DOE experience preferred)
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma DMAIC experience (Greenbelt a plus)
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, PLM tools (Arena preferred), and GD&T
