An Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Company is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer III to their talented team!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot manufacturing problems on the shop floor. Develop new manufacturing procedures for new product lines
- Troubleshoot basic machine geometry problems.
- Design assembly tooling, facility floor plans, plant layout designs.
- Drive ownership of their project - related to scheduling, budgets, efficiency.
- Design manufacturing processes including tooling, labor standards, spec out equipment, work instructions, etc.
- Serve as mentor to more junior department members.
- Use continuous improvement thinking in order to constantly improve production, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Follow instructions and procedures, elevate issues impacting workflow and quality, and ensure the proper care and protection of high-value items.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering or related engineering degree.
- 3-5+ years of experience working within a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions such as mathematical and/or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- At least 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment with experience working with suppliers/vendors/procurement.
- Experience with equipment installation is preferred.
- Self-motivated individual capable of functioning as both a team member and team leader, with the flexibility to achieve objectives and adapt approaches as needed.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicting interests and secure cooperation.
- CAD/CAM experience is required - solidworks is preferred. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- MS Office, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Exhibits honesty and integrity, consistently adhering to rules, procedures, and policies.
