This position exists within a high-tech manufacturing facility supporting the production of both auger equipment and power transmission components and was created out of ongoing investment in operational excellence. Reports directly to the Engineering Manager and partners closely with operations, maintenance, and safety teams.Select ResponsibilitiesLead continuous improvement projects that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase plant safety, including welding optimization, time studies, and workflow design.Manage complex, cross-functional projects with responsibility for budgeting, timelines, contractor oversight, and execution of new technologies.Perform detailed root cause analyses, implement corrective actions, and monitor outcomes to ensure sustainable process improvements.Serve as a technical resource on mechanical/electrical design, pneumatics, hydraulics, controls, and gauging systems.Promote a culture of safety by conducting audits, recommending enhancements, and supporting training efforts across departments.Utilize CAD software and simulation tools to design and implement process improvements.QualificationsBachelors Degree in Engineering3+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering experienceStrong background in pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical/electrical systemsCAD proficiency; experience with simulation software preferredERP knowledge, SAP strongly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office SuitePreferredWelding experience or certification (CWI)Experience with tooling/dieFamiliarity with API certification standardsTime study experience and Lean/CI methodology knowledgeWhy is This a Great Opportunity:Stablebig employer in the area.
