Senior Manager, Sample Management

Role

Lead sample management and tissue culture operations within a biopharma RAS-addicted cancer program, focusing on cell banking, inventory, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• oversee daily lab activities
• manage automated storage systems and LIMS
• develop SOPs
• mentor staff
• troubleshoot tissue culture issues
• ensure equipment qualification and maintenance
• partner with research teams on demand forecasting and process transfer

Requirements

• BS/MS in a scientific discipline
• 5-10 years in laboratory or sample management, with proven supervisory experience
• hands‑on expertise with lab automation, LIMS, and tissue culture techniques
• strong attention to data integrity and continuous improvement

Preferred

• experience supporting small‑molecule discovery
• mentoring early‑career scientists
• familiarity with automation platforms and vendor systems (e.g., Mosaic)
