Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Senior Manager, Platform Engineering will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of foundational infrastructure while ensuring platform reliability and security in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Oversee the operational management, uptime, reliability, and performance of IBM Mainframe and distributed computing environments Provide strategic leadership for the platform engineering team, aligning day-to-day operations with ATPCO's technology roadmap Drive continuous improvement in platform reliability and performance, utilizing industry-standard monitoring and management tools Required qualifications Proven experience in managing large platform engineering teams and complex technology stacks Strong knowledge of IBM hardware and software systems, as well as third-party tools for operational management Experience with budget management and vendor contracts in a technology environment Familiarity with AI applications in platform operations and automation techniques Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop engineering talent within a high-performance culture
