ECG's Radiology Practice helps health systems, academic medical centers, and physician groups optimize radiology services through physician alignment, governance, compensation design, operational improvement, and performance management. The practice focuses on strengthening radiologist engagement, improving care delivery, and creating sustainable models that support both clinical excellence and financial performance across the radiology enterprise.

Your Opportunity with ECG: Senior Manager or Associate Principal

Senior managers and associate principals at ECG are experienced consulting leaders who guide complex engagements, shape client strategy, and contribute meaningfully to the firm's people, offerings, and market presence.

At this level, you will:

  • Lead major client engagements or critical work streams.
  • Influence executive-level decision-making.
  • Coach and develop consultants at multiple levels.
  • Contribute to business development and long-term client relationships.

Senior managers typically focus on leading large portions of engagements and advancing team and project execution, while associate principals bring broader strategic influence, trusted-adviser presence, and increased responsibility for relationship development and market growth. Both roles demonstrate strong judgment, leadership maturity, and accountability for outcomes.

Your Responsibilities May Include

Client Service and Project Leadership

  • Lead significant components of complex client engagements, ensuring accurate, insightful, and actionable deliverables.
  • Integrate quantitative and qualitative analyses across multiple data sources to generate evidence-based insights.
  • Facilitate strategic, sensitive, or politically complex discussions with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Anticipate and manage project risks, competing priorities, and organizational dynamics.
  • Lead or support change management efforts and help clients navigate ambiguity.

Analytical and Strategic Leadership

  • Design and oversee advanced analytical models, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Diagnose root causes of complex, systemic issues and guide teams through structured problem-solving.
  • Synthesize findings into clear, high-impact insights that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure analytical rigor, relevance, and consistency across project teams.

Leadership and People Development

  • Coach, mentor, and develop talent at multiple levels through regular feedback and sponsorship.
  • Foster high-performance, inclusive teams built on trust, accountability, and learning.
  • Model self-awareness, situational judgment, and adaptive leadership in high-stakes environments.
  • Support talent identification, development planning, and internal advancement.

Communication and Executive Presence

  • Lead high-impact communication with internal teams and client stakeholders.
