Global alternative asset manager with $29B+ AUM is seeking an Operations Manager / Senior Manager to join its growing private credit operations team. Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations & Operations, this role will oversee critical operational processes across direct lending, broadly syndicated loans, CLOs, and structured credit strategies while mentoring junior team members and driving automation and process improvements
5x/week in midtown NYC
TOTAL compensation between 500k to 550k.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations supporting private credit and structured credit strategies
- Lead and mentor junior team members while helping drive team development
- Partner closely with Investment, Investor Relations, Finance, Compliance, and external service providers
- Enhance operational workflows through process improvement, automation, and technology solutions
- Manage trade lifecycle, cash flows, reconciliations, servicing activities, and reporting across credit products
- Support scaling of operational infrastructure as assets and investment activity continue to grow
- Contribute to strategic operational initiatives and special projects
Ideal Background
- 10-20 years of investment operations experience
- Deep expertise across private credit, including direct lending, broadly syndicated loans, CLOs, ABS, securitized products, and related strategies
- Proven people management and team leadership experience
- Advanced Excel skills with a strong automation and systems-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiency
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record (3.4+ GPA preferred)
