Senior Manager of Analytics

Senior Manager, Data & Analytics

Salary: $170,000 to $200,000 base + bonus (no equity)

We’re partnering with an established consumer business looking for a Senior Manager, Data & Analytics to lead a team across Analytics, BI, and Data Engineering.

This is a player coach role (approximately 70% leadership, 30% hands on) with responsibility for driving the Data & Analytics strategy, managing senior stakeholders, and translating data into commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across Analytics, BI, and Data Engineering.
• Own the Data & Analytics roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that deliver the greatest business value.
• Partner with senior leadership to improve commercial, customer, and operational decision making.
• Drive improvements in reporting, KPIs, data quality, and analytical processes.
• Work closely with Data Engineering to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Support the adoption of AI, predictive analytics, and automation.
• Remain technically involved, providing guidance and challenging analytical approaches.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years in Data & Analytics, BI, or Data Science, with proven people management experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading broad Data & Analytics functions and setting strategic priorities.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with modern BI tools such as Looker or Omni.
• Good understanding of data modeling, transformation, and data engineering principles.
• Experience applying AI tools within Analytics.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in retail, ecommerce, CPG, or consumer businesses.
• Exposure to Snowflake, dbt, and Python.
• Experience leading Analytics within a larger enterprise organization.
