Managing cost management activities for complex mechanical projects, the full-time Senior Manager, Mechanical Estimator will establish cost management programs, prepare estimates, and support strategic cost plans in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Establish and deliver cost management programs for large-scale capital projects Prepare quantity take-offs and detailed estimates for mechanical scopes of work Drive the accruals and forecast process, providing detailed analysis on cost risks and issues Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field 8 or more years of experience in cost management for capital projects, including design and construction phases Mechanical estimating experience with the ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings Direct experience in a complex, matrixed environment Expertise in Excel and experience within the construction industry; life sciences experience preferred
