Senior Manager Data AnalyticsPosition Summary: As Senior Manager Data Analytics in the Marketing Analytics/CIS organization, you will be responsible for leading and developing data visualization solutions. This role will include collaborating with multiple business and tech teams within Walmart to generate dashboard reports that will provide insight needed at various levels in the org to help optimize Marketing efficiency.Roles and Responsibilities:Work directly with the stakeholders to understand the business & reporting needs - Propose, design and develop creative dashboard solutions that provides required insight, improve/automate processes and adds valueProvide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation. Conduct unit testing, and maintain complex dashboard reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.Determine the best implementation that will meet the design of the architect.Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations.Ensure consistency by adhering to a set of software coding and style guides.Hands on with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management). Build and publish interactive dashboards on Tableau Server.Hands on experience developing robust, maintainable, reusable code and software tools.Work cross-functionally with various departments including business stakeholders and technical personnel to exchange ideas.Must have excellent verbal communications skills and documentation skills to maintain work flows and dashboard functionalityRequirements:Design and implement user interface components for JavaScript-based web applications using React ecosystemExperience in dashboard implementation and data visualization using chart.js and d3.js, and tableauExperience in Node.js and REST API building highly scalable applicationsRelational database modeling and implementation using SQL, MySQL, and MariaDBAbility to architect scalable applications and pipelines with Java/Python and React using Git and cloud development.Advanced Tableau Development skill and knowledge of Tableau administrator/architecture.At least five years of experience designing and developing business intelligence dashboardsAt least five years in UI, UX space demonstrable with evidence of using a combination of user interface tools such as wire frames, prototypes, mock-ups, or white boarding to illustrate product usability.Experience working with large and complex data set able to write simple queries to create calculated fields.Empirical understanding of data systems (BI analytics, data blending, data warehousing, data ETL, etc.) on process automation and standardization.Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functionsTechnologies: SQL, MySQL, MariaDB, HIVE, R, Microsoft Excel, External Data files in.txt,.csv,.xlsx, Tableau, Power BI, Machine learning, Python, Pandas, Sci-kit, Big Data Ecosystem, chart.js, d3.js, React, Node.jsAt Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based incentive awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
