- Direct the financial reporting function and manage the Company’s external financial reporting activities supporting the company.
- Act as a key technical resource for financial reporting matters, ensuring assigned financial statements, reporting materials, and related deliverables are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and issuance of annual and interim financial statements for multiple entities across the organization.
- Ensure financial statements, footnotes, and other required disclosures comply with applicable accounting requirements, including U.S. GAAP, GASB, and relevant international or local reporting standards.
- Lead the external audit process from planning through completion, including coordinating information requests, preparing audit support, communicating with auditors, and addressing audit findings.
- Review and oversee account reconciliations, supporting schedules, financial statement tie-outs, disclosure checklists, and other documentation required for audits and reporting.
- Establish and maintain reporting calendars, month/quarter-end close procedures, financial reporting packages, and disclosure controls to support an efficient reporting cycle.
- Collaborate closely with accounting, consolidation, FP&A, tax, treasury, legal, operations, merchandise, and other business functions to gather and validate information needed for financial reporting and audits.
- Coordinate quarterly and annual variance and fluctuation analyses with FP&A and other finance partners, ensuring significant changes are properly understood and documented.
- Create and continuously improve accounting policies, reporting processes, templates, and documentation practices.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring internal controls related to financial reporting, including control procedures, supporting documentation, review requirements, and retention of evidence.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline reporting through automation, standardized processes, improved data governance, system enhancements, and other efficiency initiatives.
- Manage, mentor, and develop financial reporting managers and accounting professionals by providing direction, prioritizing workloads, conducting performance management, building technical capabilities, and supporting career development and succession planning.
- Provide accounting and financial reporting support for special initiatives, including system implementations, acquisitions and business combinations, financing and debt transactions, new accounting standards, and other corporate projects.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, accountability, flexibility, and a strong sense of ownership while working in a complex, rapidly evolving organization.

Qualifications
- CPA required
- Previous experience supervising and developing employees is required.
- Background in public accounting or external audit is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience managing consolidated financial reporting across multiple legal entities is strongly preferred.
- Experience with international accounting, IFRS, GASB, statutory reporting, or multinational organizations is a significant advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation is required.
- Experience managing external audits, coordinating with auditors, performing financial statement reconciliations and tie-outs, and supporting financial statement disclosures is required.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms, consolidation applications, financial reporting systems, and related reporting technologies is preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex accounting concepts into clear information for both finance professionals and business partners.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple deadlines and effectively lead teams during high-volume reporting periods.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, develop employees, enhance processes, and deliver results within a complex, fast-paced business environment.
