Senior Manager Financial Reporting

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a midsize stable well known consumer services firm in Indianapolis seeking a Sr. Financial Reporting Manager. This role plays a key leadership role within corporate accounting, with strong visibility across executive leadership and the parent company.

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial statement consolidation and reporting
• Support quarterly reporting to parent company
• Oversee annual financial reporting for franchise disclosures
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors
• Manage lease accounting under ASC 842
• Oversee lease accounting systems
• Partner with operations, marketing, and leadership on accounting matters
• Review key accounting estimates and reserves
• Lead technical accounting research and memos
• Manage and develop a small corporate accounting team
• Ensure SOX compliance and internal controls effectiveness
• Drive process improvements and automation efforts
• Support leadership with ad hoc projects and reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting foundation
• CPA required
• Strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience
• Prior experience managing or mentoring staff
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience required (PeopleSoft preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• High visibility role reporting to Chief Accounting Officer
• 401(k): 100% immediate vesting (dollar-for-dollar up to 3%, then 50% of next 2%)
