Ghost has offices in Los Angeles and New York.About the RoleWe're looking for a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to be a strategic finance partner to our business. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a hands-on role that owns the operating model, rolling forecasts, daily cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting and variance analysis, while supporting our capital markets needs.You bring strong analytical rigor, sound business judgment, and experience across capital markets and hands-on operating environments.
You'll partner closely with leaders across Engineering, Product & Design (EPD), Sales, Operations and the executive team to turn financial insight into business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & AnalysisPartner with finance leadership on annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts, driving cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Ops, and EPDOwn monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and operational reviews with leadershipOwn the bottoms-up 3-statement operating model with driver-based assumptions and scenario planningBuild and deliver executive and board-level reporting packagesCapital Markets & TreasurySupport Series D fundraising, including investor materials and process managementManage Ghost's debt capital stack which includes PO financing facility, A/R financing facility, and term loan: draw management, covenant tracking, and reporting complianceMaintain the rolling 13-week cash flow forecast; monitor covenant headroom against the cash floor weekly and escalate liquidity risks proactively to the CFOLead financial due diligence for investors, lenders, and strategic partnersAI & Data-Driven Decision MakingBuild forecasting models and automated workflows that generate variance commentary, reporting narratives, and dashboardsHelp design a company-wide KPI framework with automated monitoring and alerting, built on a single, trusted source of dataBring rigor, transparency, and sound judgment to financial decision-making in a fast-moving environmentStrategic Finance & Business PartnershipPartner with the CEO, CFO, and Board on strategic planning, capital allocation, and corporate developmentSupport capital allocation analyses, strategic partnership opportunities, GTM strategies, and other business initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or CFA preferred5+ years of finance experience, including a minimum of 3 years at a bulge bracket investment bank with capital markets execution experience (or equivalent)2+ years of FP&A experience at a Series B or later-stage retail or CPG company preferredExperience supporting Series C+ equity raises and managing debt facilities, working capital financing, and treasury operations preferredProficiency in Excel financial modeling, with hands-on experience in NetSuite or RilletExperience with 3-statement modeling, scenario analysis, and driver-based financial frameworksCPG or retail industry experience a plusHighly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and move quicklyTakes ownership of outcomes and collaborates well across teamsCurious and driven, with a bias toward action and a track record of delivering resultsThis role will be based in our LA office. Our total compensation for this position can range from $150,000 - 175,000 base salary + bonus + equity.
