This role ensures high availability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems and collaboration platforms.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise across infrastructure and cloud SaaS services, along with strong leadership capabilities to drive innovation, reliability, and cost efficiency.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:Leadership and StrategyDefine and execute a comprehensive infrastructure strategy spanning data centers and Microsoft 365 servicesLead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams including data center engineers and M365 administratorsEstablish governance, policies, and standards across infrastructure and collaboration platformsPartner with business and IT leaders to align technology investments with organizational goalsDrive roadmap planning for hybrid infrastructure, cloud adoption, and modern workplace initiativesOperations and Service DeliveryEnsure 24/7 availability, reliability, and performance of data center and Microsoft 365 servicesOversee incident, problem, and change management processes across platformsManage SLAs, KPIs, and service health metrics for both infrastructure and M365 services Lead service continuity, backup, and disaster recovery strategiesImplement automation and operational efficiencies across environmentsInfrastructure & Data Center ManagementOversee servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platformsManage lifecycle planning, capacity management, and hardware refresh initiativesLead data center migrations, consolidations, and modernization effortsEnsure optimal performance of compute, storage, and network resources Evaluate and integrate emerging infrastructure technologiesMicrosoft Services ManagementOwn administration and optimization of Microsoft 365Ensure service availability, performance, and user experience for collaboration toolsOversee licensing, tenant configuration, and service adoption strategiesDrive governance for data retention, information protection, and compliance within M365Facilities & Vendor ManagementManage relationships with data center providers, Microsoft, and other vendorsOversee physical infrastructure including power, cooling, and physical securityEnsure vendor and SaaS provider performance meets SLAs and contractual obligationsManage procurement, contracts, and licensing agreementsSecurity & ComplianceEnsure compliance with regulatory and organizational standardsMaintain physical and logical security across data center and M365 platformsSupport audits, risk assessments, and remediation effortsFinancial ManagementDevelop and manage budgets for data center operations and Microsoft 365 servicesOptimize costs across infrastructure, licensing, and cloud servicesProvide financial forecasting and ROI analysis for technology investmentsIdentify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencyEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent ExperienceYEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 10-15 yearsYEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 5 - 7+ yearsCERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Azure certifications Preferred)SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, virtualization)Hands-on or leadership experience managing Microsoft 365 environmentsExperience with hybrid environments integrating on-prem data centers and cloud/SaaS platformsFamiliarity with automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-codeStrategic thinking and transformation leadershipStrong team leadership and cross-functional collaborationExcellent communication and stakeholder managementDeep problem-solving and incident management expertiseIf an hourly or salary range is included in this ad it represents the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
