Senior Manager AI Engineering

Leading the development of a next-generation AI platform, the full-time Senior Manager, AI Engineering will drive product and data science strategy, oversee a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the platform's performance and scalability in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Lead the engineering and data science roadmap for the AI Platform, ensuring scalability and integration with LLMs and data science pipelines Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to define requirements for predictive modeling and multi-agent collaboration capabilities Manage and mentor a high-performing team of backend engineers and data scientists while driving technical excellence through best practices Required qualifications 12+ years of experience in software/platform engineering or data science, with at least 3 years in engineering management or technical leadership roles Proven experience in building and scaling distributed systems or cloud platforms in production environments Strong technical background in backend development, APIs, and platform architecture Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms and data science methodologies, including model development and deployment Experience with vector databases and end-to-end data science pipelines in production settings
