Overview
This radiology position performs a variety of radiological procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting, fixed or mobile. The technologist produces high-quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and professional manner. Responsible for required quality control activities as mandated by MQSA and the FDA, either as designated Quality Control technologist under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform breast radiologic procedures to support diagnosis and treatment in outpatient settings, ensuring high-quality images and patient comfort.
- Conduct required quality control activities in accordance with MQSA and FDA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Formal radiologic technology training program meeting the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification—American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT) upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist – Mammography within 1 year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of full-time mammography experience.
