To support modernization initiatives, the remote Senior Mainframe Developer will analyze, develop, and maintain COBOL-DB2-CICS applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize legacy systems. Key responsibilities Perform code screening and analysis of existing mainframe applications to identify dependencies and optimization opportunities Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL-DB2-CICS based applications, including job automation and monitoring Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate on application enhancements and ongoing maintenance activities Required qualifications 10+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies, including COBOL, DB2, JCL, and CICS Strong experience in batch processing and job scheduling with tools like Control-M Proficiency with Mainframe debugging and analysis tools such as Xpediter and File-AID Experience working in Agile and SDLC-driven environments Excellent collaboration skills with technical and business stakeholders
