Senior Mainframe COBOL Developer With Insurance Functions
Location: Remote (local to Dallas preferred as candidate can visit the office as and when required). Duration: Longterm Contract
• 10+ years of hands on experience developing and supporting mainframe applications using COBOL.
• Strong experience with JCL, CICS, DB2, SQL, VSAM, IBM z/OS, and TSO/ISPF.
• Experience developing and supporting batch and online mainframe applications.
• Strong production support, debugging, root cause analysis, and performance tuning experience.
• Experience with Endevor or Changeman and scheduling tools such as Control M or CA7.
• Experience integrating mainframe systems with modern applications using IBM MQ, APIs, or file based interfaces.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with insurance business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams.
