Senior Machine Learning Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Machine Learning Scientist with a strong background in MLOps, high-performance computing, data management, and visualization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record enhancing operations through innovative machine learning solutions and be well-versed in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Julia. This role will focus on advancing our large language model integrations and overseeing full-cycle development from research to deployment. Experience with scientific modeling, such as climate modeling, fluid dynamics, or materials science simulation is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced software toolboxes with a focus on large language models and their application within business and operational contexts.
• Lead the integration and management of MLOps infrastructure to streamline model deployment and scalability across various platforms including AWS.
• Run A/B experiments, gather data, and perform statistical analyses.
• Enhance and maintain pipelines, including CI/CD and data collection, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Produce high-quality, maintainable code and advocate for best practices in software engineering and data science.
• Present results and explain methods to senior leadership.
• Foster a collaborative, creative, and rigorous culture of scientific discovery.

Qualifications

• in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics with specialization in Machine Learning or Data Science.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a machine learning-focused role, with substantial experience in MLOps, and high-performance computing
• Proficiency in scientific programming in Python
• Strong background in statistical modeling, neural networks, and other machine learning techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Published research or contributions to open-source projects in machine learning or related areas.
