Managing a diverse caseload of long-term disability claims, the full-time Senior Long Term Disability Claims Specialist will ensure timely and accurate decisions while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance the claims experience in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Oversee the entire claims process from intake to resolution, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations Collaborate with clinical and vocational partners to develop return-to-work strategies and assess benefit eligibility Serve as a subject matter expert on claims practices, contributing to the refinement of internal procedures and workflows Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred 5+ years of experience in Long Term Disability claims management, particularly with complex cases Proven ability to independently manage a full caseload and make sound decisions Advanced knowledge of ERISA and related regulatory requirements Strong communication skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders
