Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Litigation Attorney in Addison, TX. The successful candidate will independently manage a complex commercial litigation docket from intake through trial, collaborating with managing partners and the firm's team as needed.

Duties

• Manage a docket of complex commercial litigation matters from start to finish.
• Lead interactions with opposing counsel and clients.
• Conduct hearings and depositions, and serve as first-chair or second-chair in trials.
• Oversee pleadings, discovery, and research, delegating tasks as appropriate.
• Supervise and review the work of associates and staff.
• Advise clients on strategy and keep them informed throughout their cases.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Texas for at least ten years.
• Proven record in complex commercial litigation.
• Substantial courtroom and deposition experience.
• Ability to manage a full docket independently.
• Comfortable working with a team and interacting with clients and counsel.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

Licensed to practice law in Texas.
