Senior Linux EngineerLocation: HYBRID - Charlotte, NC or Kennesaw, GA - 3 days a week and 2 days a week remote Looking for a resource that can do design work and support the OS. The resource will have previous experience in design infrastructure beginning to end and have server build experience. This is a design and build resource.MUST HAVE: 7+ years of experience in the US The Engineer is responsible for building a platform to support the full stack including application integration, performance management, security implementation, server build, configuration management, and problem management against an array of services and function at a platform and host level.Required Skills:7+ years of experience with multiple large-scale enterprise cluster environment builds and operations including design, capacity planning, cluster set up, security, performance tuning and monitoring.Experience with three tier architectural web applicationsIn-depth working knowledge of RedHat Linux systemsProficient with networking, firewall, kernel parameter tuning, security conceptsStrong knowledge and experience with shell scriptingDesign, develop, and implement Ansible playbooks and roles to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deploymentsPerform extensive troubleshooting and technical support for both hardware and software issues that may arise.Knowledge of TLS certificates, different certificate container formats, as well as understanding of the entire certificate chain.Experience with configuration, usage, troubleshooting of Load Balancers (F5/AVI/vmWare/etc.).Experience with VMWare concepts of creating and managing VMsMust have experience working on large, complex projects with cross-functional teams.Understanding of JIRA and Agile software development methodologies
