Job Title: Senior Level Network Architect (OT Lead)
Location: Hybrid -- 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote, New York City, NY

This Position Will Require the Consultant to Work 3 Days Onsite & 2 Days Remote
Key Responsibilities
- OT Network Design & Modeling: Lead end-to-end design, modeling, and long-term planning of OT network components (core, distribution, edge) for critical systems including CCTV, PA, CBTC, Bus Radio, power, cybersecurity, and train/bus operations.
- Reliability & Compliance: Ensure 24x7 operational reliability and adherence to regulatory, safety, and industry standards.
- Technical Leadership: Provide specialized technical guidance to operations teams on OT projects and initiatives.
- OT-Specific Solutions: Identify, design, and implement solutions addressing OT-specific challenges such as cybersecurity resilience and operational continuity.
- IT/OT Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate OT and IT systems while enforcing strict segmentation and security protocols.
- Standards & Documentation: Develop, maintain, and enforce network standards, reference architectures, and modeling documentation.
- Innovation & ROI: Deliver cost-effective, high-value solutions through innovative use of networking technologies, strategic decision-making, and ROI-focused planning.
- Strategic Presentations: Lead and coordinate OT network strategy development and present recommendations to executive leadership.
- Legacy Modernization: Support modernization of aging legacy systems by capturing maintenance data, analyzing gaps, and designing extensible, resilient architectures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Networking, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Procurement teams; translate complex concepts into actionable plans.

- Network Design & Administration: Advanced experience designing, modeling, and optimizing core, distribution, and edge devices for OT environments; long-term planning for highly available, resilient, and scalable OT networks supporting 24x7 operations.
- Network Virtualization & Wireless Technologies: Strong understanding of network virtualization, wireless networking (e.g., Wi‑Fi 6/6E, private LTE/5G), and segmentation strategies; ability to integrate wired and wireless OT networks for seamless coverage.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Advanced knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-82, IEC 62443); experience applying security principles to industrial control systems.
- Enterprise Architecture Modeling: Hands‑on experience with enterprise architecture tools (e.g., Abacus, Sparx EA, or similar) for scenario planning, impact analysis, and visual communication of complex architectures; development of OT network standards, patterns, and reference models.
