Senior Contract SpecialistClearance Required: Active SecretSchedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Core Hours: 0800–1600 ±1.5 hr)Location: Andrews AFB, Maryland (onsite)Start Date: ASAPOverviewWe are seeking two experienced Senior Contract Specialists to support the 316th Contracting Squadron at Andrews Air Force Base. These roles require cradle-to-grave acquisition support, including pre-award, award, and post-award contracting activities in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and agency policies. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to mission-critical acquisition and contracting functions in a high-impact DoD environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide full-spectrum acquisition support including market research, solicitation, evaluation, award, administration, and closeoutAssist with acquisition strategy planning and documentation development (RFPs, SOWs, PWSs)Support source selection using LPTA, Best Value Trade-Off, and other procurement methodsDraft acquisition artifacts such as ASP briefings, acquisition plans, and contract clearance documentsParticipate in Multi-Functional Teams (MFTs) and liaise with Mission PartnersConduct price and cost analysis in support of procurement decisionsMaintain compliant contract files and document repositoriesDeliver status briefings to government officials and maintain contract trackers (MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Facilitate COR appointments, training coordination, and performance trackingSupport training delivery and acquisition education briefings to stakeholdersRequired QualificationsActive Secret Clearance (at time of hire and maintained throughout)Minimum of 7 years of DoD contracting experience, including operational contracting for services, commodities, or constructionExperience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, and DAFFARSDemonstrated experience in source selection procedures and cradle-to-grave acquisition lifecycleBachelor's Degree with 24 business credit hours from an accredited institutionProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Preferred QualificationsFAC-C, DAWIA Contracting Professional Certification, or CPCM (NCMA)Experience supporting Air Force or other DoD agencies in a contracting roleStrong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively in a team-based government environmentWork Schedule & EnvironmentOnsite at Andrews Air Force Base, Monday through Friday • Core hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (+/- 1.5 hour flex) • Federal holidays off; occasional need to adjust based on mission needsTo ApplySubmit your resume and confirm your active Secret clearance status.
