- Develop iOS client code solutions aligned with product strategy and engineering best practices
- Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high-performing customer experiences
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure team commitments are delivered on time and with high quality
- Advocate for the mobile platform through internal and external developer communities
- Continuously learn mobile development technologies including Swift, Kotlin, and third-party libraries
- Influence group discussions and incorporate broader team feedback
- Mentor junior to mid-level team members
- Collaborate with developers across Android, iOS, APIs, Web, and other disciplines
- Own and lead delivery of major components and platform needs with senior engineers and Architects
- Share best practices and improve processes across sprint teams
- Identify technical obstacles and develop creative solutions with the team
- Review pull requests and ensure adherence to Swift and other language idioms
- Provide subject-matter-expert leadership for technical development of a mobile development team
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 6 years of experience in software engineering; internship experience does not apply
- At least 4 years of experience building iOS applications
- At least 3 years of experience with Swift
- Preferred: Master's Degree
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience building iOS applications
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with Swift
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Agile practices
- Preferred: 1+ years of people management experience
- Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion
