Senior/Lead Front-End / Full Stack EngineerTeam is looking for a Senior/Lead Front-End or Full Stack Engineer to join its fast-paced fintech engineering team. In this role, you'll lead the development of scalable web applications and microservices, contributing directly to tools used for equity portfolio construction and ESG-focused investment strategies. You will work with cutting-edge technologies (React, Python, Kubernetes, AWS) and be involved in every phase of software development, from system design to deployment.Key Responsibilities:Lead feature development from UI to backend services, including microservices and relational data layers.Build and maintain scalable, modern web interfaces (React/TypeScript).Design and own parts of a microservices ecosystem for equity portfolio construction tools.Deploy and manage applications in a Kubernetes (K8s) cluster.Continuously modernize legacy components with contemporary technologies and third-party integrations.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Mentor junior engineers and lead engineering initiatives.Stay current with evolving technologies and CI/CD best practices.Contribute to recruitment and team growth efforts.Non-Negotiable Requirements:Full Ownership of Microservices - Able to independently design, build, and deliver full-stack microservices, deployed in a Kubernetes cluster.Microservices Ecosystem Design - Experience architecting microservices for fintech platforms or similar.Platform Modernization - Proven track record of modernizing enterprise systems using up-to-date technologies and frameworks.React & Python Proficiency - Strong skills in React (TypeScript) and backend development using Python (or similar OO language).Nice-to-Have Skills:AWS Ecosystem Experience - Working knowledge of AWS services for scalable deployments.CI/CD Practice Improvement - Ability to contribute to or lead DevOps workflows and CI/CD automation.Recruitment Participation - Interest or experience in conducting interviews or mentoring.Qualifications:5+ years of hands-on experience in full stack or front-end engineering roles.Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.Advanced experience in JavaScript ecosystem and modern front-end frameworks (React preferred).Experience with Python, or related OO languages like Java or Scala.Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).Experience in AWS environments is a strong plus.Excellent verbal and written communication.Experience leading projects or mentoring team members.
