We'll enable growth and progress together.Overview of the RoleThis senior lead developer role is within a global application development team responsible for Real Time Pricing and Risk applications for Rates trading business.

The role will focus on design and implementation of critical new features as well as architectural and performance improvements. This role requires strong design and programming skills in Java, knowledge of various streaming frameworks as well as familiarity with challenges that arise when implementing real time performant systems.The role also requires strong familiarity with Rates trading business as well as quantitative foundation of pricing and risk calculations.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the team to understand functional and operational requirementsLead designs and implementation of robust and testable code in support of the requirementsDevelop certain non-functional features in the system to improve reliability, scalability and performanceContribute to the design and implementation of automated test suitesParticipate in code reviews helping other team members improve their codeKey RelationshipsReal Time Pricing and Risk Team in Warsaw, London, New YorkOther development teams also located in the same regions and IndiaQuantitative Analytics teamApplication support organizationKnowledge/Experience7+ years of relevant experience in Application Development; at least 5 years' experience with Java.Familiarity with KDB is strongly preferredExperience with system analysis and in programming of software applications, especially as it pertains to performance and testability of componentsFamiliarity with interest rates products and associated pricing and risk calculationsAbility to be proactive, adjust priorities quicklyExperience working on a mature development in a large collaborative environment as well as coming up with ideas that challenge current practicesDemonstrated leadership skillsAny Risk or Fixed Income knowledge would be strongly preferredTechnology SkillsExperience with Java ecosystemExpert in Java developmentStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and best DevOps practicesExposure to profiling, debugging and monitoring toolsFamiliarity with Apache Flink, KDB and Kafka a plusAmbition to learn aspects of systems supporting real time interest rate risk calculationsJob Family Group:TechnologyJob Family:Applications DevelopmentTime Type:Full timePrimary Location:New York New York United StatesPrimary Location Full Time Salary Range:$142,320.00 - $213,480.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
