Senior Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Counsel to join our civil litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator to take on substantive, high-impact work while enjoying the collegial, flexible environment of a smaller firm.

About the Role

As Senior Counsel, you will manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution, working directly with clients and firm leadership. You will play a lead role on cases, mentor junior attorneys, and help shape the direction of our growing litigation practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters independently, from pleadings through trial and appeal.
• Develop and execute case strategy, conduct legal research, and draft motions, briefs, and other pleadings.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trial.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and practical counsel.
• Mentor and supervise associates and support staff.
• Collaborate with attorneys across both offices to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• At least 5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing cases independently, including motion practice and depositions.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• A collaborative, client-focused approach and a commitment to professional excellence.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $230,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including:
